The Marauders meet
James Potter and Lilly Evans walked into the Great Hall, the whole room was a sea of eyes looking at them, the poor James who was now the guy every girl in 1st – 4th years thought was hot, and the girl who all boy 1st years and a few 2ct and 3rd years liked, and didn't know almost anything when it came to the wizarding world. The only people to say anything were Sirius Black, Alice Hewitt, and Ligh Peak. Sirius walked up to James and put up his fist, “knuckle touch? I know what you come from, and as long as you like pranking, I think we could get along, hey you’re in my dorm room, right?”
James was shocked, “uh yea, Sirius this is Lilly, Lilly I guess this is Sirius, “
“So?”
“So what?”
“Who do you want to prank first?”
James looked at Sirius,” Slitherins?”.
“Yes were goanna be beasties” Sirius blushed, “wow that was-“.
“Don’t bother, see ya at lunch Lilly , me and Sirius have some planning to do”
“Oh o[i]-“
“Great, see you”. Alice and Ligh walked up, “boys are so dumb, even if they are cute, eat with us, im Alice and this is Ligh”
“Oh hi im-“
Ligh interrupted “Lilly Evans, we know –“
“How?”
“Everybody knows you, hello your adopted, by most 1st-3rd year boys standers hot, and your just a mystery.”.
Lilly blushed, ”oh, im-“
Alice laughed “don’t worry, just eat, you look like crap”. Ligh nudged her,”hey “
“What! It’s the truth”.
“guys, its ok, I’m just upset, hey I know its early but I have a huge favor, I want to know who my parents are, they were in the great hall yesterday , the hat said so, and it’s a teacher”. Ligh and Alice looked at each other, “we`re in”

Sitting at the table a mere 3 seats away was the future marauders ; James, Remus, Peter, and Sirius. ” James this is Peter ,and Remus ; Peter Remus, this is James.”

“OK guys, lets get to planning , I say snervluse first” said Sirius.
James looked up, ”you mean Snape?”.
Remus put down his fork , “in the interest of not getting detention by the 2ct day of school, we need a name, you know to put credit to”.
“you know,” said Sirius, “I knew you would be the smart one, what should it be, I`m thinking Sirius is cool guys “
Peter laughed, ”that’s not obvious at all is it , why not, the Hogs”.
“I`d rather not be named after the Hogs Head” commented James, “Why not the marauders”
“you know what , that’s not half bad” Said Remus.

“the marauders it is”. Professor Dumbledore rapped the side of his goblet ,”please , as it is your first day but we must move to our classes, please proceed accordingly", so the kids left to there classes, scared and exited.

Professor Slughorn cleared his thought, ” welcome to your first day of Potions Class, now as there are muggleborns in this class that might not have the background as others , im going to act like nobody has the advantage of knowing anything already , alright lets get started. I know its early , but unless some of you guys screw up , or do really well you wont know how you are with certain things. Today we will start with truth potion , it should be fun , page 2010 of the level red books”. There was a shuffling of feet as the students went to get the books , James cornered Lilly on their way back to their seats ,”look im sorry `bout this morning. Work with me ?”.
Lilly thought about it; then got an unforgiving voice; ”no” then she laughed “course I will!!!” then she did a wink towards Alice and Ligh, they smiled and nodded approvingly.
“oh god!! This is a very complicated potion!! We should get started .” said Lilly.
“More like impossible”; said James, ”but definitely worth it”.
“duh”; Lilly respond. “come on , lets get started”. Over on the other side of the room Sirius was talking with Remus , and thinking ; and that’s never good.

“oh come on, it would be so funny!” whined Sirius.
“no” said Remus, always the voice of reason.
“well you cant stop me, Ill get Peter to help. “
“ no you wont “ said Remus.
“ok , I wont , please!!”begged Sirius. ”we wont get caught ! James wont mind anyway, I mean , we are 11, ok he's 12 but 12 for merlin's sake ! He's not in love with her or anything.”
“no”
“just a little ease dropping”
“ugg!! Will you ever stop”
“no”
“whatever”
“Yes!” Sirius whispered in victory. ”Lets go.” He dragged Remus and got in the perfect spot to spy on James and Lilly .”This is a bad idea” was the last thing Remus said before Sirius shut him up.

“James” Lily screeched , giggling .”stop”.
“Is Lillian's ticklish?”
“yes!, Now stop “.He stopped accordingly but kept grinning weirdly.
“ok. Ok what do we do now.”
“crush pickleseads and put the juice-“
“on Lilly!” said James and squeezed the juice on Lilly’s` head.
“James, James, Jame-“ Lilly fell to the ground ,red to the face and sweating, “don’t leave me James…” was the last thing she said , barely.
